Unit Circle!

Updated: Dec 19, 2020

What is a Unit Circle?

A Unit Circle is a circle whose center is at the origin of the rectangular coordinates and whose radius(r) is 1unit.

It has the equation: x^2 + y^2 = 1

The first part of the unit circle is locating whether the given point is inside the circle, outside the circle or on the circle. AND HERE ARE THE TIPS!!

IF THE GIVEN POINT IS EQUIVALENT TO:

EXAMPLE

The answer 0.19 is less than 1, therefore the location of the given point is INSIDE THE CIRCLE!

CONVERTING DEGREE TO RADIAN MEASURE AND VICE VERSA is the second part of the Unit Circle wherein I'm going to show you the two of them.

-Degrees and radians are the two most commonly used units of measurement for angles.

CONVERTING DEGREE TO RADIAN MEASURE
-It is a procedure wherein all the given degrees will be converted into a radian measure by multiplying 𝜋 / 180° radians to it and then simplify.

Now, I'm going to show you on how to convert degree to a radian measure!

TIPS! As long as you know on how to cross multiply, this will be a simple thing to do, but to make our life easier, just simply use a calculator in solving the equation!

Now, cheer up and let's move forward to it's vice versa!

CONVERTING RADIAN MEASURE TO DEGREE
    - it is a procedure wherein all the given radian measure will be converted to degree by multiplying them to 180° / 𝜋 radians and then simplify.

This will be the procedure in converting radian measure to degree:

Isn't simple? Get your feet up and let's move on to the last part of Unit Circle which are COTERMINAL ANGLES!

COTERMINAL ANGLE are angles in standard position that have common terminal side.

IN FURTHER DISCUSSIONS, I WANT YOU TO WATCH THIS VIDEO!

THIS IS A FREE VIDEO TO VISIT AND TO REWATCH! SOMETIMES, LEARNING AND DISCOVERING THINGS ON OUR OWN IS ALSO A BIG HELP FOR OUR FUTURE STUDIES!

I HOPE YOU HAD FUN AND HAVE WATCHED IT ALREADY!

TO SUMMARIZE EVERTHING THAT WE'VE TACKLED HERE'S ANOTHER VIDEO FOR EVERYONE!

TO SUM UP EVERYTHING THAT WE HAD, WE'VE DISCUSSED LOCATING GIVEN POINTS, CONVERSION OF DEGREES TO RADIAN MEASURES AND VICE VERSA, AND LASTLY COTERMINAL ANGLES!

Be BRAVE! Once you fail, try again! SOLVING MATH EQUATIONS IS A TRIAL AND ERROR! NEVER LOSE HOPE IN IT :))
